Meet Our Founder: Kevin O’Neill
Kevin’s path as a Senior Placement Advisor began in 2017 when he was asked to help navigate the complex contracts for his father and stepmother’s senior living community in New Jersey. Experiencing the anxiety, confusion, and emotional weight of that transition firsthand changed everything. He realized that families facing these life-changing decisions desperately needed an advocate—someone to protect their interests, ask the hard questions, and smooth out the friction.
To complement his personal experience as a family caregiver, Kevin completed extensive specialized training through Mom’s House and Performance Education, and he regularly satisfies continuing education standards with the Florida Real Estate Commission.
An Engineering Mind with a Caregiver's Heart
Before founding Mom’s Florida Place, Kevin built a career grounded in problem-solving and meticulous execution. Holding a degree in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA, he spent over a decade designing semiconductor manufacturing equipment, ran a successful custom wood processing business, and dedicated 13 years to leading complex IT project management initiatives.
For a family in transition, this unique background is a major advantage. Kevin applies that same rigorous, system-driven precision to evaluating senior living options. He dissects contract details, analyzes care capabilities, and structures every phase of the transition so nothing falls through the cracks—allowing you to focus on supporting your loved one while he manages the operational heavy lifting.
